U.S. Coast Guard Academy Athletic Hall of Fame
Nominations of individuals for induction into the USCGA Athletic Hall of Fame at Homecoming 2008 should be submitted by April 30, 2008, in writing to:

Eligibility for Nomination
- Academy graduates are eligible for selection for regular membership in the Athletic Hall of Fame at any time after the 20th anniversary of their graduation.
- Academy graduates are eligible for induction as veterans at any time after the 40th anniversary of their graduation.
- Any person, civilian or military, graduate or non-graduate, who has made significant contributions to the advancement of the CGA athletic programs over a period of not less than three years, shall be eligible for honorary membership in the Athletic Hall of Fame.
Who May Nominate
Any regular member of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association (if you are not a regular member of the Association, you can join now by selecting “Membership Form” under the “Membership menu above) may nominate, for the consideration of the Athletic Hall of Fame Selection Committee, any eligible person who meets the criteria for selection as a regular, veteran or honorary member of the Athletic Hall of Fame.
Criteria for Selection
- Have distinguished themselves and brought honor to the Academy for their outstanding participation in the Academy's intercollegiate athletic program.
- Have continued after graduation to distinguish themselves and bring honor to their organization and country through outstanding achievement in either civilian or military life.
- Serve as outstanding examples of the qualities of character, courage, leadership and determination that the Academy seeks to develop through its athletic program.
