- USCGA Alumni Association Awards
- USCGA Athletic Hall of Fame
- USCGA Hall of Heroes which consists of the Wall of Gallantry and the Wall of Remembrance
- Eligible graduates for the Wall of Gallantry are those who have distinguished themselves during operations and have received one of the following awards: Medal of Honor, Navy Cross, Gold Medal of Congress, Silver Star, Legion of Merit (with combat “V”), Distinguished Flying Cross, Coast Guard Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Medal, Gold Lifesaving Medal, Bronze Star, Silver Lifesaving Medal, NASA Space Flight Medal. Combat Operations are no longer required for eligibility for the Distinguished Flying Cross.
- The Spring 2008 Induction Ceremony for will take place on April 25th.
- A Regimental Review in honor of the inductees is scheduled at 1605 on Washington Parade Field, weather permitting.
- The Spring 2008 Inductees are: CDR Joseph Angelico (’67), CAPT Richard Butchka (’64), CAPT James Doughty (’54), CAPT Lance Eagan (’62), CAPT Donald Estes (’71), CAPT Richard Fuller (’43), CAPT Thomas Ostebo (’81), LCDR Donald Prince (’56), CAPT Billy Ryan (’43), CAPT Carl Von Paulsen (’13), CDR James White (’65), and CAPT Robert Williams (’67).
- The Coast Guard Academy is soliciting for nominations to be inducted onto the Wall of Gallantry in the Spring of 2009. A maximum of 12 graduates will be selected to be honored on the Wall of Gallantry. Please submit all nominations, including a copy of the award citation, to: U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Attn: LT Allison Dussault (ccd), 15 Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT 06320. All nominations must be received by April 15th. Please contact LT Allison Dussault, Delta Company Officer, at 860.444.8443 with any questions.
