New London To Host $100M Coast Guard Museum
Plans for a five-story, 50,000 square foot National Coast Guard Museum located in downtown New London were unveiled on April 5, 2013 at an event attended by ADM Robert Papp '75.

From the USCGA Parents Associaton President
We are now into the last full year of the Leadership 44 commitment. By the spring of 2014, the project to fund Arctic Tern will be completed. As the class of 2013 completed Swab Summer, the Leadership 44 became a real undertaking. The Class of 2013 never got a chance to sail on the Leadership 44’s, but the parents of this class are leaving behind an incredible legacy for all of the cadets of the future. Knowing that the Leadership 44 initiative took many years to get rolling, we are now looking for what will be the next major Parents Association undertaking. This will take some time, perhaps years, so we have started now. Read more>>

Parents Association Fiances
The Parents Association continues to provide annual support for cadet activities, morale events, and various things in Chase Hall which support day-to-day cadet life. The Association also paid $100,000.00 towards its commitment to the Leadership 44 fund. In the upcoming year, the Parents Association will continue to pay towards its L44 commitment, will support company level morale events and will begin looking at funding club sport uniforms.
