Mark your calendar now for the 2025 Otto Graham Golf Classic presented by AKIMA! This year’s tournament is set for “Coast Guard Day” Monday, August 4, 2025, at the exquisite Army Navy Country Club – Arlington, VA. Special THANK YOU to Akima for continuing and enhancing its support of this marque event and the Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association since 2021!
“Akima first sponsored the Otto Graham Golf Classic in 2021, and has been a fantastic partner ever since,” said Tournament Director, Trueson Tarinelli. “Akima’s support and commitment to the Alumni Association is pivotal to the event’s growth and success.” Last year’s sold-out event was the best ever with 140 players.
The 2025 Otto Graham Golf Classic presented by Akima moves to the exquisite Army Navy Country Club – ARLINGTON and will take full advantage of all three (Red, White, and Blue) courses and elegant banquet facilities.
Alumni, parents, and friends of the Academy along with members and friends of ALL services are invited to participate in the tournament. This year’s tournament coincides with “Coast Guard Day.” Plan to celebrate the 235th birthday of the Coast Guard by playing a great round of golf.
The 2025 Otto Graham Golf Classic is expected to be another sold out event, so interested parties are encouraged to sign up early with a sponsorship.

Tournament History
Named in honor of legendary Pro Football Hall of Famer, Otto Graham, this tournament supports the Otto Graham Hall of Athletic Excellence at the Academy. Following his NFL career, Graham served as Athletics Director and Head Football Coach at the Academy from 1959-1965. After a second stint in the NFL, Graham returned to Coast Guard as Head Coach from 1974-75 and as AD until 1984.
Commissioned in 2016, the Otto Graham Hall of Athletic Excellence celebrates Coast Guard’s rich history of success including national champions, All Americans, conference champions, and more. The Hall showcases all Academy teams through vibrant displays and is home to the Athletics Hall of Fame!
