2030 Strategy

Over the past year we have engaged with internal and external stakeholders, analyzed our All Alumni Survey results, and held focus group with diverse alumni. We have envisioned life in 2030 and how the Alumni Association needs to be best positioned to remain relevant and valued.

Vision

A proud and connected alumni, cadet, and Academy community that thrives as leaders of character in service to their peers, the Coast Guard, and humanity.

Mission

As an Association of influence and professionalism, we connect our alumni across the generations to further their philanthropy and engagement with the Academy and beyond. We honor our history while embracing new traditions to ensure a bright future for our alumni.

Our Values

Build Community

Nurture a connected community that sustains lifelong relationships, expands access, and champions all alumni.

  • Focus programming to drive engagement and membership across a multifaceted network
  • Engage every cadet from Day 1 to cultivate a life-long connection
  • Empower success for our alumni supporting their professional development through boutique career services and networking opportunities
  • Creatively tell the story of our Academy, our alumni and our mission to inspire and connect our constituents

Amplify Impact

Increase the impact and reach of the Alumni Association and the Academy by partnering with alumni, the Academy, friends, and industry partners.

  • Optimize our fundraising strategy to meet current and future priorities
  • Standardize volunteer involvement across all programs and services
  • Implement a personalized prospect management strategy to engage and steward donors and members at key touchpoints
  • Conduct a feasibility study to identify and advocate for high-impact campaign opportunities
