The USCGA Maritime Center of Excellence will be a premier facility intended to embody the institutional heritage of America’s oldest sea-going service. Meeting a broad range of educational, recruitment, outreach, and waterfront operational needs, the MCOE will serve as the centerpiece for the Coast Guard Academy waterfront. The single largest capital enhancement in the history of the Academy will transform the waterfront by providing a centerpiece that benefits the nation’s premier maritime service academy.
